About Us
The Reuel Buchanan Foundation was founded in September of 2018 by his parents, Lois M. and Stephen R. Buchanan, in memory of their beloved son who touched the lives of many people. Reuel’s family wanted to continue his legacy “Aspire to Inspire Before You Expire” by providing a way to impact the lives of the members of various communities the way that their son did before his untimely death on April 18, 2018.
The purpose of this foundation is to identify economically and socially disadvantaged students who “Aspire” to succeed and to equip them with the necessary tools to enhance their skills for success.
